  • 1935

    The founder, Mr. Basilio, took over his first venture named Novaquímica, which was later sold. Then a new laboratory emerged, Igefarma, starting a promising and successful story.

  • 1996

    The most important brands in the world begin to see Brazil as a promising market in dermatology. Aware of the trends, Igefarma Laboratories launches the TheraSkin brand.

  • 2005

    EQUIBIO is founded, an internal clinical research laboratory with a modern and high technology structure to improve the research of new products.

  • 2009

    The TheraSkin brand gains strength and becomes the corporate name of the company. Keeping the focus on beauty and skin health, TheraSkin launches a series of innovative products and achieves a prominent position in the Brazilian market of products focused on skin care

  • 2012

    The signature "Harmony to the skin" is adopted, reinforcing the values, attributes and belief that surround the brand. Constantly growing, TheraSkin achieves a portfolio of more than 40 products, including medicines and dermocosmetics, being the leader in several active markets.

INNOVATION: TheraSkin® Research, Development & Innovation (RD&I) presents a fundamental strategy. It is responsible for managing the portfolio of RD&I projects, research and product development, new businesses, strategic partnerships, licensing and dissemination of the Innovation culture.

The company seeks to meet the needs of physicians and consumers through the development of innovative products for Dermatology. TheraSkin® believes that through innovation it is possible to generate solutions for patients, environmental sustainability, increased competitiveness and optimization of the operation.

TheraSkin® focuses primarily on an innovation culture by collaborating with companies, universities and research centers. In addition, creativity, communication and teamwork are essential elements of this process. One of the company's initiatives is the laboratory of ideas program, where all employees are included in the development of continuous improvement and new products.
